White Paper: Imaging Object Change Management (IOCM) -
addresses change management and data synchronization use cases arising
when deploying a DI-R based architecture.
Supplement: Multiple Image Managers - addresses Image Manager
to Image Manager communication in peer-to-peer and local-to-central (DI-R)
scenarios within and across enterprises, including management of multiple
patient identifiers, whether they be different local identifiers or local
and central (national) identifiers.

About IHE Canada
IHE Canada is an open, not for profit organization that
promotes and facilitates the adoption of IT standards among
Canada's healthcare
community. It is being created based on the same guiding principles and
values used by other existing IHE initiatives around the world, in
particular the original organization sponsored by HIMSS and RSNA in the
United States . IHE Canada is
made up of professionals interested improving the quality of patient care
in Canada .
IHE Canada acknowledges the contribution of the Canadian
Association of Radiologists (CAR) and the Information Technology
Association of Canada (ITAC) in bringing the achievements of IHE to the
attention of Canada's Healthcare
Community and initiating the movement in
Canada.
The IHE movement has enjoyed success in other countries
due in a large measure to the fact that those who have driven the
initiative have consciously chosen to avoid creating a top-heavy
bureaucratic structure. It is a principle of IHE Canada to limit its
hierarchical organization as much as possible and ensure the rapid and
cooperative advancement of interoperable IT solutions in the Canadian
healthcare industry.
Participation in IHE Canada shall be open to anyone
interested in collaborating and contributing to the success of the
organization. All members are volunteers and IHE Canada cannot be
responsible for any costs associated with their participation in any IHE
Canada activity and/or working
committees. |
